Got my haircut first time after pandemic started. What an absolutely great experience! Max cut my hair and gave me a gorgeous layered haircut. Plus his conversation was so engaging and hilarious. Not to forget, such an economical price for shampoo, haircut and style. Definitely recommend it ! Also, the hairstylist wears a mask and you also don’t have to remove it during haircut.

I’ve been coming here for several years after my wife brought my mom in for a haircut, on several of mom’s trips to see the grandkids. I get a good quality haircut at a reasonable price. They can often accommodate walk-ins, but you’re not likely to get your pick of hairdresser. This place is frequented by a good number of locals and regular customers – I’m one of them!

I switched over to Max at Millbrae Hair Salon because my barber left where she was working before, and a bunch of friends and my son come here. Max really knows how to take care of hair that’s been called wiry and hard to work with and he’s on top of what looks good and what’s contemporary. Thanks, Max, for the great cuts!

Sudi did a chop job on me. She was rude and unprofessional. She scheduled me at the end of the day and although it was a bit of an inconvenience for me, I took it. When I arrived for my appointment, she rudely informed me that due to the late hour she will not shampoo or style my hair (uh, who’s fault was that?). From the positive Yelp reviews, I decided to let it slide. Because she didn’t style, I was not able to tell at the time how bad the cut was. When I got home I just wanted to cry. The cut she gave me was beyond rudimentary. My bangs were so choppy and the choppiness went all the way around to the back. Thank goodness hair does grow back. Horrible experience. I will never go back to Sudi or anywhere near Millbrae Hair Salon!
