Awesome haircut, beautiful place inside and great people! My wife also got a facial and was thrilled with how it went. What more could you ask for? Also, downtown is extremely charming. There are lots of places to eat, boutique retail shops and a great hometown feel. Highly recommend spending some time at Mikula for a spa treatment and a cut, and then give downtown a walk. You won’t be disappointed!

I recently booked a hair appointment with Michelle. From the moment I walked in, the ladies were kind and welcoming. After sharing with Michelle what I was looking for, and asking her advice on what she thought, I immediately felt comfortable knowing she was confident in executing it. They went above and beyond and gave me a warm neck wrap, a cup of coffee, and the best experience I’ve ever had at a salon. I was truly able to relax and enjoy the process. Both Michelle and Barbara (owner) were genuine, personable, and both clearly enjoyed what they did. I will absolutely be back. So thankful I found Mikula!

This place is amazing and the owner and the stylists are genuine, talented, customer focused and a delight! It is so refreshing to find a salon which truly cares about their customers. I’ve been twice in less than a week: first for a cut and then for a color: the dynamic is out of this world…you feel at home. They provide an experience, not a service.. next time I’m bringing friends and we will make a day out of it because… and wait for it: you can get your hair done, get a facial, a manicure and if you fancy it relax in their infrared sauna; all in a single location. I contacted them about seeing if they could fix the screw up Great Clips at Byers Creek did. I had my haircut done by Barbara and she was fantastic! I didn’t feel pressured or anything. She explained what they did wrong and was confident she could fix it. She did fix it and with my wedding in 3 months I will be coming back for my wedding haircut and all future haircuts. 10 out of 10!
