Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueFirst and foremost, I want to say that Mike E is INCREDIBLE at what he does!! After recently moving from Winston Salem to Mebane, I was in search of new barber and after reading all the stellar reviews on Mike E, my decision was easily made. Although my partner is a 10 year salon owner in downtown Mebane, with skills of pure perfection, there is a huge difference between salons & barbershops. I am very particular when it comes to my hair as I have always viewed it as one of the main features that express my eclectic style, personality and edginess… From hair styles, tattoos to color.With all that being said, Mike E went above and beyond by exceeding ALL my expectations!! With my anxiety through the roof with someone new cutting my hair, I walked through the door and immediately felt at ease with his kind spirit and welcoming approach! It was as if I had been going to him for years. Once in the chair, he ask me what we were doing today and I provided him with brief explanation. One thing I never do is get a design my first visit, let alone give the barber free reign over creating their own design in fear of their artistic abilities being subpar but something told me to go for it and WOW!! HE KILLED IT!!! My fade and design was the best I’ve had for as long as I can remember!! My partner even made the “bowing at this feet” motion with her hands when I returned to the salon after my visit!!
