I’ve had my daughter’s hair braided several times st this shop. I was informed 12 and under $120 for the style with purchase of hair. After every style they offer a receipt which I’ve maintained. Recently I set an appt for the same style and informed it was $150 not including the hair. I asked have the prices now changed she informed me no and stated I’ve always paid $150. Matilda then asked would I like to speak with the owner and I said yes. Owner stated she would call me back. I then received a text from Matilda stating she would not be able to braid my child’s hair because she didn’t want to argue about the price… This is really bad business and I would not recommend this braiding salon. Prices aren’t listed in the shop so with customer decline or influx they seem to adjust at their own leisure. For repeat customers who we’re subject to prices prior this is very unprofessional!!!!! I encourage all the do your own research and make this business an ABSOLUTE LAST RESORT!!!!!!!!! HYGIENE IS ALSO CONCERNING!!!!

I got really bad service. The stylist said she could do a style but after she started my head she said she couldn’t. The style should have been long but she didnt want to braid it long so she cut it short and they didn’t sew my braids together so they were bumpy and spacy. I had to drive back to wait a long time for get it sewn together

HORRIBLE! I brought my daughter to get her first braids. We called ahead, made an appointment. Walked in and got a stare. I politely said we have a 3:00 appointment. They said wait a few minutes. After 30 minutes one of the braiders said it would be another 2 hours. Then they started in saying she might not sit still – she’s 7 and we’ll behaved. I said she would sit still but not after waiting 2 1/2 hrs before even starting. They said I was lying about making my appointment because they didn’t have it in their book, even though I showed her the call in my call log. When I went to leave she said why are you leaving, I said we’re not waiting another 2 hours. This was supposed to be an early birthday present for my daughter and now she’s so disappointed. Never again here.

They would have 0 stars if it had been an option.Worst customer service ever. These women are extremely rude and disrespectful. I showed the woman Miriam how I wanted my hair and she said it would be an additional $50 after she was finished my braids were not the length that I asked for and her and the other stylists Issy procceded to argue with me. The owner was useless and expected me to let them extend my braids when they should have been done right in the first place. These women are scammers take your money elsewhere!

I only see one braider, Liz. I wouldn’t let other people in my head because they are not as good as her. I have been going here for over 5 years. I get Senegalese twist. And they always look good. They look good even when I take them down. I’ve had to wait occasionally and they take longer because I only have one person in my head. But I’ve gotten compliments from everyone and I travel a lot. I’ve moved out of state and am headed back to get my hair done.

My first time getting braids at this shop. They were professional and gave me exactly what I asked for. My appt was at 8am, they were a little late but got started by 8:30. I started with 4 braiders on my hair at one time. This style usually takes 8-10 hours with one person and with 4 it only took 4 hours. The shop is clean and provides the hair. I will definitely be back. The only drawback is some of the braiders made the braids tighter than others.

I’m here getting my 3rd set of braids this year. I’ve always had great service, and a good experience. I always come during week when it’s not so busy. And their prices include the hair. I live across town and will always come here.
