After seeing what a great job they did for my brother, I decided to give them a try. I am so glad I did! The atmosphere is amazing, the owner is awesome, and he has skill. You can even get your mustache and beard shaped up. Be sure to call ahead and make an appointment because spots fill up fast. Also, parking is limited to the street, so bring change to feed the meters.

I have been getting my hair cut here for ~6 months, mostly with Koy. He does an amazing job and I have always been very satisfied. However, I was recently 10 minutes late to an appointment and on arrival told my appointment was cancelled. Cool, no worries, I was late and that’s on me. However it appears that I have now been effectively banned (any attempt to schedule a new appointment gets cancelled without explanation).

I go here at least once a month. I generally love the atmosphere and enjoy the conversation I get while there. Those guys are great at what they do! And you can tell they love doing it. Even with a difficult swirl on the back of my head they know how to cut my hair to make sure it isn’t a problem. And at a great price, it’s my go to to keep my hair looking awesome. I recommend it all the time to any of my short-haired male and female friends.

I have been getting my hair and beard cut here since they opened and have never left feeling disappointed. These guys have some killer skills and are super smart in their craft. I haven’t found another barber shop in central or southern Illinois that can compare to the quality work and good vibes that come from the guys at Midwest. I would greatly recommend to anyone looking for anyone looking for a quality and distinct haircut at a fair price. (Just make sure to call at least a few days ahead)
