Positive: Quality, ValueI don’t get my nails done often, but had recently gotten a gel manicure (with fake nails) for my wedding. After they grew out, I wanted them taken off vs. maintaining them because regular nail appointments don’t fit my lifestyle. I realized quickly I wouldn’t be able to remove the nails myself so booked an appointment for a mani/pedi at Midtown Threading & Nails. I think they gave me the best mani/pedi I ever had. Instead of using a power sander to get the fake nails off, they spent extra time filing by hand because they said the power sander often times will take off too much real nail in the process. They spent 20 minutes manually filing off the nails, vs. spending only 5 minutes with the drill to save my nails. Even though my short, little real nails aren’t glamorous or much to work with, the attention to detail of getting the polish all the way to my cuticle and covering every corner of my nail was impressive. I have gotten many mani/pedis in the past where I felt I could have done a better job with the paint application. Not true with these ladies! I don’t get my nails done often, but had recently gotten a gel manicure (with fake nails) for my wedding. After they grew out, I wanted them taken off vs. maintaining them because regular nail appointments don’t fit my lifestyle.
