I wish I would have read the reviews before going. Got a fresh set of hybrids with Ariana. She was nice and clean during the service, however after just a few hours I had a couple fall all which left a really noticeable gap. By the next day about half of the lashes were gone. When I messaged her, she said she couldn’t get me in until the following week and when I messaged her again to follow up with an appointment she took a few days to respond and evidently told me in a really long message that she only had one appointment in the middle of the day and I needed to be considerate of the weather and her other clients so I needed to let her know ASAP. I ended up booking with someone else at a different salon who got me in the next day, guaranteed her work, and even gave me a discount. I do not recommend.

After seeing Kira for my last lift/tints and brow wax/laminations I won’t see anyone else! Her space is gorgeous, she makes me feel comfortable, and I leave feeling so confident. The aftercare tips she gave helped my lashes stay lifted for about 7 weeks, and I get compliments all the time! I’ve recommended Kira to all my friends who love her work as well.

I don’t remember the girls name that did my lashes but she was very nice the only thing that was terrible was she didn’t guaranty her work. The lashes fall out within the hour by the next day I had a gap. when I informed her what was happening she told me she couldn’t get me until next week and I will need to pay depending on how much fell out because she said it was my lashes that didn’t hold the extensions. I got a hold of another artist and she was able to squeeze me in and fix her work. I have had no fall outs and its been a week. Upsetting to spend $200 and then to have to pay someone else to fix it.

Midtown Beauty Bar is such a VIBE! As soon as you walk in it is so welcoming, you are greeted by the most friendly staff and the decor is to die for, super aesthetically pleasing! I get my lashes done by Caityn and she does such an amazing job. Gives me exactly what i ask for and makes me fall in love with my lashes all over again. I get my brows and Brazilian done by Taylor who is now at their second location, Midtown Beauty Bar 2 and she is so thorough and comforting. I have never been as obsessed with my brows as i am now. And as far as Brazilians go, wow. Not a hair left in sight. She is super knowledgable with products and really knows what she is talking about. Overall, this place is your one stop shop and i highly recommend it.

I live and breathe for Midtown Beauty Bar.The environment of the salon feels like home away from home and for that reason, this is why MBB is my home for all my beauty needs. I’ve been seeing the owner Amanda for over 3 years for lashes and is absolutely incredible. The manager Jordyn is an absolute doll and has also done some of my lash fills throughout these years and never fails to put the needs of the clients first. I have also seen Jackie for lash fills and she is also incredible at what she does. I now see Caitlin for waxing and she made my first Brazilian wax experience a pleasant one (and I never thought I’d be able to say that about that service.) Kristina is the most vibrant nail artist and I couldn’t be more thankful to also be a client of hers. The amount of talent that is here is insane. Thank you Amanda for making this THE BEST beauty bar in Reno!

Sierriah does my Brazilians and all other waxing, and she’s is the best! She makes me feel comfortable while doing my Brazilian (it’s uncomfortable as it is) but she does a great job at not making it awkward, and me and her have great conversations!
