We have used the North Holland and Grand Haven locations. While both are great, the Grand Haven location is our favorite. The staff there is so knowledgeable and friendly, especially Moon! She always has a smile. My teenage son has used red light therapy for acne on his shoulders and face, and it has done wonders! Highly recommend. Best prices around too!

I hadn’t been tanning in a very long time, but have an upcoming vacation planned so I went to the Grand Haven Midnight Sun location to see what they had. Moonshadow helped me pick the bed and program that was right for me, along with the right lotion. She was fantastic! The facility was super clean too. Only thing I would suggest is having a small miss or in the rooms for applying lotion and touching up following a tan, but other than that – wonderful experience!

Don’t go here. They told me I was paying for one month and then they started automatically debiting my credit card without my knowledge. I went in to have the automatic debit turned off and they failed to do so. When I went in the second time they did turn it off and admitted it was their mistake but refused to give me my money back. They said would credit my account. They just lost 4 customers for a lifetime which will be much more than returning my $40. The response from the owner is not accurate. I didn’t knowingly sign up for the debit package, the mistake was on the employee that explained it incorrectly. I went into the location to have the debits cancelled. I did not call. Again, wrong information from their employees. Their systems were down and I was not able to cancel in their system so they took my name and said they would cancel and that didn’t happen.

I started a membership in August. I called at the end of August to cancel and there was no answer. I could have stopped in but I am very busy and the month rolled over. I accepted that I would have to pay for September, although I did not use it, one single time. So, middle of September, I call again and the woman told me that she was new but that she thought that I had to come in to physically cancel my membership – which is ridiculous. I said ‘really’? I thought when I signed up that she said I could just call. To which she replied, ‘oh, maybe, sorry I’m new but I’ll have my manager call you asap to let you know what to do’. Manager never called.

Excellent customer service almost seems like a thing of the past. However, Hailey and Tina have restored my faith that customer service is alive and well. I started going to Midnight Sun a few months ago in order to prepare for my upcoming nuptials ( I didn’t want to look like Casper in my wedding photos). Both these young ladies were always helpful and knowledgeable in what my best options were. They are also both kind, personable and treat you like family. I would recommend Midnight Sun off Lincoln in Grand Haven to anyone. Stop in and Say “Hi” to Hailey and Tina. I promise you won’t regret it!

Normally this place is solid, but they really need more workers and computers or, even better yet, a streamlined method for already-registered users (mainly would come in handy on Tuesday’s). I waited 25 min. for a bed that was unoccupied the whole time-and saw a lady turn around at the door. The workers were great; it’s more how it’s managed.
