I had my haircut by Skylar and loved it. I immediately scheduled a 6 week appointment for another haircut. With that being said I called 2 weeks later asking if Skylar could please call me back so I could update my appointment to haircut and highlights……. never called. Okay people get busy so I went ahead and called after waiting a week to hear back and asked if the front desk person could please change my appointment to haircut and highlights. She said okay and I asked if Skylar could please still call me back because I would like to discuss the highlights with her. She still never called back. After a month I called and asked to speak to the a manger because I feel like a unwanted client at this point. The lady first said the manager was not in and then I asked if I could talk to someone else in charge, another lady got on the phone I again asked for the manger and she said the manger was in a meeting and could not come to the phone. So at this point I am like which one is it is the manger not there or there and in a meeting? At this point I broke down in tears telling this lady I have more than enough money can someone just please do my hair who will A)call me back B) make time to call me to discuss what we are doing to it since I changed my appointment to highlights also. I was so upset and still she said that everyone else is not taking any new clients at this time. I told her to just cancel my appointment all together. I am now driving to Charlotte to get my hair done. Its where I am from and from now on will bring all of my business for my hair too. Its sad that I have to drive so far but like I said I just want my haircut and highlighted and was willing to pay whatever if someone would just please call me back. Thank you Wayne but the time for chatting was this past month and when I tried to call multiple times and this past time when I asked for you and was told 2 different stories, Thanks but no thanks!

Although I was only in King for a short time with John Johnson, I had some very good memories, I will never forget! 1350 miles from Iowa!!! John made an appointment for me to have my hair highlighted & I met Wayne & I not only loved your salon, I loved the boutique! I owned my own womens clothing boutique in Iowa for many years & you carried many of the same brands! Had I stayed, I’m sure I would’ve been a regular customer! Critical: QualityAsked for a a long Bob asymmetrical shoulder length on one side longer to my length on the other. Even provided a photo, my shoulder length side was to my ear mind you my hair was mid length down my back. The other was at regular length. The short side wasn’t even cut even with chunks of longer hair underneath. This little salon is a hidden gem in King! The staff are so sweet and the salon itself is set up beautifully with a really fun industrial vibe. The stylist I worked with was Ashley and I would highly recommend her. She listens to what you want and takes the time to help you leave knowing how to recreate the styling at home on your own. I have rarely felt that comfortable with a stylist!
