I came today to do my eyebrows and have a pedicure. It was my third time coming here. Everything was going great and the location is close to home so super convenient and spa I thought I’d frequent as a recent resident to the area. Overall, the spa is nice and clean, the service and experience was relaxing AT FIRST and I’ll even say I’m happy with my pedi BUT when I gave my technician (Lulu) her tip she literally came back to requesting more because of a mandatory 15% minimum. I was off by .85 cents! I have never been to a nail salon where this was a requirement. Usually a tip is up to the customer based on satisfaction. So I accommodated and gave an extra dollar but not cool. Kind of rude, the way she asked. Definitely hindered the experience. Also the price of all services has increased from a few weeks back, which wasn’t even a big deal but asking for more tip money? Management needs to train its people on how to speak to its patrons. I will be going around the block moving forward and I don’t think I’ll be coming back. They need to learn to handle this better. I’ve never had someone demand more (not even ask, but demand) for more as I sat there drying my nails. Very uncomfortable and it was done in front of another patron…. Not professional.

I’ve been coming here for a while and Una is great but when attending todays appointment another woman did my nails. She had missed top coat , shape is uneven and bulky. When calling Michelle the owner to see if this could be fixed , she said no because she has other clients and I would have to return the next day , she did not offer any other options but to accommodate their time instead of the customer. She did not represent her company in a professional matter and I’m highly disappointed.

The salon was extremely expensive and one top of this there was absolutely no heat throughout and from what I was told they have this problem daily. I asked my lady if my toenails were dry because after a half hour my feet were on a icelycold floor, I was told I could finally put on my socks only after I got home to a warm apt, took my socks off and all my toes were stuck to the socks. There other things but I’ll leave it at that. Just fair warning

I have been going to Michelle’s spa for about 5 years. Michelle (Owner) is very kind and asks you questions to makes sure you are getting exactly what you want. There are some very good technicians who will take their time to complete your services. I RECOMMEND always making an appointment or walk in early.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueThis was hands down the WORST pedicure experience I have ever had in my life! An older Spanish woman did my pedicure and was extremely rough, she caused an infection in both of my big toes. DO NOT go there, EVER!!!!!!!! I’ve been going to Michelle’s for about two years now. Overall, it’s a clean environment. The prices are reasonable for the Westchester area. There is ample METER parking. I’ve only had to interact with the owner and a few nail technicians. They’re friendly and take good care of their regulars, but there is room for improvement when it comes to phone skills, greeting customers, and leaving a good impression on new customers. Just a tip: when you have an appointment arrive early or on time, and do not let them disregard your appointment time. After addressing it twice from personal experiences, they’ve gotten better with it.
