Critical: ProfessionalismUsually do not write bad review, but I have never been disrespected and devalued before. Susan the stylist gave me a Japanese was treatment burned my scalp and when I came in to show her she did not bother to listen to me and look at the pictures. As soon as I expressed my concern she interrupted and said “if you could not afford it then you should say it.” This when I started to cry and she said “ you are crying because we don’t refund and you need the money.” Comments like this was very disrespectful and devalued me as a person. Then when I was crying out of surprise how she was talking she starts to cruse and yell at my sister when she explained that I was in pain because of the burn And said to her “ I’m not taking to you and get out my store.” Moreover Michelle was nice and is amazing Stylist. he gave me a store credit but I will NOT be using it because I am genuinely scared after today’s encounter.Usually do not write bad review, but I have never been disrespected and devalued before. Susan the stylist gave me a Japanese was treatment burned my scalp and when I came in to show her she did not bother to listen to me and look at the pictures. Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI highly advise against using this salon. They are fraudulent. If I could give negative stars, I would.I called ahead and asked about a Groupon deal and they said they would honor it. When I went in for the service I again showed my groupon and we discussed the fee before I had my appointment. About halfway through the appointment (when I had the straightening chemicals in my hair) the receptionist told me there was a miscommunication and they did a more expensive keratin treatment on my hair and I had to pay $80 more… and had to pay before the service was complete because the receptionist had to leave. I was not ok with this but I also had the chemicals in my hair and I needed to get it washed out in time so it didn’t fry my hair. So I paid the extra money. And, unfortunately, after learning more about keratin treatments, I realize they didn’t even do it correctly at all.Now looking at other reviews I see that this is a reoccurring situation there. Seems like it is very much planned out. I don’t ever leave bad reviews but I really hope you read this and consider using a different salon. She really knows how to cut hair! My best friend of 43 years has gone here also since they opened. Their children are now grown and they go. They’re THE BEST!
