I love Bertha! Her Salon is amazing. I stumbled upon Bertha about a year ago and have been coming back since. Being able to find someone to cut and style my Spanish curly hair in Wappingers, is priceless. Everyone is always so happy, giving and they make you feel like family. This is a unisex salon located in Wappingers Falls Village. First time there and walked in with no appointment. I got my hair cut and mani/pedi. They did a fantastic job at very reasonable prices. All staff was very friendly. Will definitely be returning. Thank you Bertha and staff!

The at the salon was exceptional. My hair was a huge mess with a mix of colors as well very dry, but Bertha left m my hair feeling great, soft, smooth and the colors/tones that i wanted. Critical: ValueExpensive for a half job done. I went for a wash cut and blow and it was a Total disaster. First, I was passed on to a what it seem to be a apprentice worker, I didn’t get the cut I ask for and I was over charged for not being a regular. Why I say this, because the lady on the next chair over, ask for the same exact hair cut and was charged only fraction of what I was charged. Expensive for a half job done. I went for a wash cut and blow and it was a Total disaster. First, I was passed on to a what it seem to be a apprentice worker, I didn’t get the cut I ask for and I was over charged for not being a regular. Why I say this, because the lady on the next chair over, ask for the same exact hair cut and was charged only fraction of what I was charged. I’ve had a hard time finding someone who can do my thick, curly hair in general…aside from the typical “long layers” but she’s been able to do things I’ve only dreamed about, which are also super easy to maintain: wash & go! She also was able to help me get back to my natural color: Auburn, no crazy red or brown, which is typically what happens to me. I never thought any of it was it was possible! I’ve had a hard time finding someone who can do my thick, curly hair in general…aside from the typical “long layers” but she’s been able to do things I’ve only dreamed about, which are also super easy to maintain: wash & go!
