I had my hair color and perm at MG Boston and it has always been my go-to place for hair styling! The place is clean and cozy with nice staffs. My hair stylist is Ming, and he’s such an amazing and experienced stylist who’s extremely patient. During heating, he’d constantly check if the temperature was too high. I really like how my hair looks and got so many compliments from my friends! Ming also showed me how to style the hair to maintain the curls. Would definitely visit again and strongly recommend MG Boston and Ming!

I highly recommend MG Salon! I have been going to this salon for a few years now and they are by far the best. I got a full color change from blonde to a cool toned brown and a haircut by Eric. Also I received a hair treatment. I appreciate the time Eric took to ask questions and go over the process with me. It is the first time I bleach my hair, and I am pretty happy with it. The staffs are nice, they take good care of my hair. When I was getting a bleach, they ask if my scalp hurt and that I can stop any time. My hairstylist is Ming, he is a super great guy, he talks gently and would joke with you. My hairstyle is kind of a mess because it was always my dad who cuts it, and it gave Ming a hard time trying to fix and get a good haircut in the style I want. However it came out great! Super grateful for that.

I got an ash-brown balayage, and I love it! Ray and his assistants did such an amazing job at getting the color just right. I had my hair partially colored already. OBSESSED with my new hair! It was my first time doing bleaching and coloring my whole head and everyone constantly made sure I was ok. The reassurance from the most friendly staff. Got my hair cut by Ara — she was super efficient and knowledgeable about what tools to use for different hair textures. Even though I came with some example pictures she helped guide me in the right direction for my hair type so that it was similar to my request but actually suitable for my hair texture which is thin and prone to frizz. I have come out of the experience within 45 minutes feeling like a goddess with bouncy wavy layered hair!!!

I don’t write reviews often but I’m so happy with my haircut and balayage that I got with Eric! He was very professional and kind, making sure to check in with me about the length and color that I wanted throughout the whole process. The cut and coloring process was very efficient as Eric works with many assistants in the salon. I’ve had experiences where I was happy with the cut but not the color or vice versa with many different hairdressers but this is the first time I’m happy with both! I’ve been to many salons in Boston and in areas surrounding Boston and I can say that this salon is truly exceptional. They know what they’re doing!!!

Got a hair cut and balayage by Eric and liked my new hair a lot!! The high layer hair cut is very much like the reference picture I showed. The balayage has a lot of dimensions and the blend looked natural and not streaky. They worked very efficiently as well, would definitely revisit.

I got referred to MG Hair from my friend. And WOWZAH!!!!!!!!!! Is only word that fits! Seriously. All the staff here are really nice and friendly! Especially hairdresser Eric, extremely technically skilled, personable, and honest! He always know what I want after showing him the picture I found online and every time it came out the way better than I expected! Please go there I can almost guarantee you that you’ll be completely satisfied and happy.
