I have been getting my haircut there since the late 80’s…nearly 30 years! I don’t have one complaint. Always a pleasant, relaxing atmosphere. Feels like a brief return to the barbershops I went to as a kid. I hope it never closes!

Not a good experience. Barber was cold and seemed to be bothered by my business. Other barber seemed to be having a good time with his client in the other chair though, maybe they discriminate by age.

I have been coming here for years because it is a proper mens barber shop. Magazines are Popular Science, Car and Driver, Field and Stream, etc and not GQ! Haircuts are fast and precise with no mistakes and the staff is always fun to talk to.

It’s ok. The building is small and old, which isn’t necessarily bad, service is meh, prices are cheap, and haircuts are decent but not great. I won’t likely go back but if you need a decent haircut cheap you could do worse.

I have been going to Mervs since the early 90s, reasonably priced predictably good service, old school atmosphere. The only reason I don’t give it a five is the accumulation of hair on the floor as the day goes on. It has always creeped me out a bit.
