I absolutely adore and love the mermaids parlor and the loved ones there. Ms Debbie, Courtney and Katie are practically family. I’ve known them for years and I have been going here for years. I am really really picky about my hair and who touches it to the point where before I met Miss Debbie and her daughters I was traveling from South Carolina to North Carolina just to have my haircut Greensboro North Carolina at that. Ever since I let Courtney take care of my hair I go to her every two weeks for the last 5 to 6 years.They know exactly what your hair needs and have the understanding of what you want. I have a bluish purple on top and a pinkish underneath my hair it looks phenomenal and always does. On any given day I have at least at the least five people stop me about my hair. So if you’re someone that is very picky about your hair and you don’t know where to go the mermaid’s parlor is the best place to book your next appointment. , They do men’s hair as well as boys. You won’t regret it

Had a 3:30 appt for highlights and cut. I arrived at 3:20 pm. No one acknowledge my presence. Waited until 4:00 p.m. because the stylus I was scheduled with was still working on the same woman when I arrived. It appeared she wouldn’t be done anytime soon. The stylist didn’t realize I was ever there. I finally left at 4pm. It was not until an hour after my original scheduled appointment did the stylist text me. . She only apologized that she missed me but didn’t make any effort to reschedule.

Do not go there the daughter that was putting the makeup on is colored blind she had to do it twice. And we look like clowns. Her mother had to take over fix us up. We got there at 1:40 got out at 3:05 had to go home and get dressed. Go to the church to get married by 4:00 we were late. On the bright side the mother and the daughter are very nice people but with the daughter being color blind she should not be putting makeup on people.
