I have been going to mermaid nails for almost two years now. Every time I go in I feel welcomed by the staff which are amazing. The salon is spacious and relaxing which makes it a perfect setting for a spa/me day. After all my appointments I leave with a huge smile on my face because my nails always come out the way I imagine or even better. I get compliments whenever my nails are done which is a huge thank you to Rosie. She is patient with the designs I come in with and very focused with every detail. The pedicure service done by Hanna is spectacular, she takes her time and keeps everything clean. Definitely book with mermaid nails, you wont regret it.

Great place to get nails done, I got a full set and a pedicure and I love how my nails came out. No walk ins only appointments wich I love because it wasn’t crowded like alot of other places. They’ll work with any design you want for your nails. It’s a 25 minute drive for me but it’s worth it.

Went to Mermaids Nails for approximately two years, not too long after they opened and during the midst of Covid. Since they were new to the community decided to give them a try. Initially, they were wonderful – Tu the owner was very respectful and polite in both text messaging and greetings. Their quality of work was thorough (although my nails always chipped after one week – dip powder), the shop was clean, and the atmosphere relaxing and quiet.

Atmosphere is calming and very spa like, everyone is sweet and very gentle with their nail care. I showed Rosie an image of what I wanted done and she delivered even better than the photo! Probably one of the most well done, careful and quickest gel manicures I’ve ever had even with the lovely hand massage at the end. I’ve been getting a lot of my manicures in the South Bay Area since moving back to California but having moved out to Monterey the last year it’s been hard to find a great quality manicure anywhere and I stumbled upon Mermaid Nails and saw the raving reviews so I came in today and love it! Definitely my go to place now 🙂

I made an appointment here because it’s close. And easy to say I won’t be coming again. Although they were polite through text they weren’t so polite in person and were not accommodating at all. I scheduled for a pedicure and asked if they had availability for my friend to get one and they were insistent that she had to get a gel manicure if she wanted to be seen?? Then they made several rude comments to us. They lady told me she couldn’t do a glitter line unless it was gel which I never had been told before. She had the oddest technique for shaping and painting my toes. Now it’s 2 weeks later my polish is almost fully gone and my toe nails are gagged which isn’t usually a problem for me. My polish from before lasted 2 months .
