Amanda went over everything with me, made sure I was very comfortable, and the massage alone was so relaxing that I could have fallen asleep! I have never felt so relaxed in my entire life, and she made sure to really go over my lower back where I had the most pain! I will definitely go back again and highly recommend her to anyone and everyone I know! This was my first time getting a massage and I just have to say, BEST EXPERIENCE I EVER HAD! Amanda went over everything with me, made sure I was very comfortable, and the massage alone was so relaxing that I could have fallen asleep! Nice little place, pleasant, but the massage room was pretty basic and my experience was very poor. The therapist who I saw (NOT the owner who I heard was pretty good, but who I couldn’t get an appointment with soon enough) was just plain…bad. I don’t like to be negative , I’m not writing this to be a hater at all—but it was a total waste of my money and time. It started out with the therapist greeting me very timidly and with an obvious lack of professional self confidence. She took me back, asked a few questions and I got on the table (which was ok but not very comfortable). She came back in, flipped on Celtic music (seriously!!) and proceeded to give me one of the worst massages I’ve ever experienced. When I nicely asked for a change of music she seemed annoyed, and changed it to…some other non relaxing pop music. When I asked for certain techniques, she had no clue what to do.

I highly recommend April at Meridians Spa for the best massage! She is very attentive and aware of problem areas and muscles that need attention and focuses on those areas, resulting in reduced pain and overall relaxation. I visited because of shoulder and neck pain and after one massage, I had noticeably reduced pain. The spa is clean and inviting and the massage room is very relaxing. Honestly, the massages I received here are some of the best I’ve ever had.
