I have been to this shop about 3 or 4 times and on my last visit I experienced heat damage and hair loss. The day I left the shop after Nena did my hair for the first time, I noticed my hair felt different and not as strong as after previous visits. I actually had great experiences the first couple of visits. After I seen my hair breaking and shedding over the next few days I did what I use to do to salvage my hair and that was color it black to disguise the breakage. I’ve been natural 10 years this July and have not had any problems since I made that decision. When I washed my hair the first time after my visit, I could smell the burnt hair. I went to get my hair braided so I can gradually grow my hair back. I placed a review on the Facebook page and sadly was attacked by the Husband of the owners daughter I’m assuming. He’s usually the one who responds to the text. I was accused of being a fraud and the lack of empathy and professionalism was disheartening. They were all very nice until I had an issue. Real professional company’s understand that sometimes things happen but it’s the way they handle the issue that builds character. I didn’t want a refund or a lawsuit and we all know black women don’t play about our hair. All I wanted was an apology and I couldn’t even get that!
