Well my hair was begging to be cut. Checked the beauty salon I usually visit. I was surprised and saddened to see the Closed sign. Checked two others and all closed. What a relief it was to find Mercedes Place OPEN As a senior citizen and in the Coronavirus vulnerable group , I was cautious about going. Not to worry . Mercedes followed all the rules. The salon looks smaller outside than what it is inside. It’s spacious, tastefully furnished and clean. Mercedes takes her time cutting the hair. She addresses any concern you may have about your hair. The best part, the cost , for this excellent service is very reasonable

I have been going to this amazing Salon since 2009. I love it so much!!! I can call this place home. The only salon I have ever been too in my entire life that takes care of my hair EXACTLY how it needs to be taken care of. That is hard to find, esp with me being African American with super thick and nappy hair. I love Mercedes and her daughter Nikki! -Sincerely, Satisfied Customer ❤❤❤

I dont have an issue with how she does hair, I have a problem with thr product that she uses. She can do amazing hair let me say that. However the hair products she use are cheap!!!. Ive been going to Dominican salon for many years and I know when they are using good products vs cheap product. Iately when she dors my hair after the wash my hair look brittle and dry and usual after a wash my hair pattern looks wavy… Its not good when you clients start asking to bring their own hair products. If I got to bring my own product in not paying 40 dollars for a style.
