Very professional friendly staff! Nice clean salon. Hair done by Sophia and it turned out beautiful!! Just recently moved to Grand Blanc and I’m unable to go to my usual hair stylist in Warren, MI due to recently having my baby. I’ve been wearing my hair natural for many years, meaning no straightening chemicals, so I’ve been getting my hair pressed and curled. Couldn’t find anyone near by that straightens with a pressing comb. Everyone just blow dries and flat irons, but when my hair gets wet it goes back to Africa ✊ , and needs a good pressing comb. So my sister-in-love recommended Sophia at Meraki and she did not disappoint! I will definitely be going back! I also like that cares about the health of your hair and not just the style, which is what I’m used to and loved with my old stylist. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because I waited 1 hour before she started on me. However, I was 15 minutes late, but I did try call to let her know I was going to be late and I left her a message. Other than that it was a great experience and I will definitely be going back to see Sophia!

Val styled my hair for the first time today. She did a great job and is sweet. The owner Sophia came in before I left and she is so beautiful, nice, and welcoming. The wait times in African American salons are common due to the time required to get it right, it sucks, but you feel better after!
