We’ll I did, and found Galina, and could not be happier. Because my hair is very wavy it can be a challenge to cut well, and of course my vanity requires that it is styled properly. From the beginning Galina read the terrain perfectly, and I have been a happy customer ever since. The real judge is my wife, who compliments the cut each time I return. I started visiting Galina in 2020 in a pandemic-forced switch from a stylist I had gone to for 10 years, and never expected to leave. We’ll I did, and found Galina, and could not be happier. Because my hair is very wavy it can be a challenge to cut well, and of course my vanity requires that it is styled properly. Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI just got my haircut today for the first time since early February because now that I have discovered her, I only let Galina cut my hair, and she just reopened last week. (Although I tried to get an appointment her first day back, she was already fully booked for a week by the time I contacted her.) Thank god because my hair was a complete mop as you might well imagine.Galina gives awesome haircuts for a reasonable price, has a great little salon conveniently located in downtown Lafayette with onsite parking, and is very engaging. She informed me today that a lot of her regulars are fearful of making an appointment with her due to Corona virus. Let me assure you that she undertakes meaningful precautions and I had no concerns whatsoever. First, only 1 customer is allowed in the salon at a time. Second, she wears a mask (looked like N95 to me) and requires customer to wear a mask. Finally, she sanitizes the shop and tools between appointments. (She is an extremely clean and neat person, her shop always in impeccable condition.) If you are looking for an amazing man’s haircut in the Lamorinda area, I highly recommend Galina. I just got my haircut today for the first time since early February because now that I have discovered her, I only let Galina cut my hair, and she just reopened last week. (Although I tried to get an appointment her first day back, she was already fully booked for a week by the time I contacted her.) Thank god because my hair was a complete mop as you might well imagine.
