And I was super thrilled to find a massage place open in my neighbourhood, especially after months of crouching over my laptop in my ill-equipped makeshift office at home. I am someone who, prior to the lockdown, got weekly massages during my lunch break. So you can imagine my happiness at finding a new replacement near my current “office”.Little did I know, this was going to be the best experience I’d had in ages.It was easy to set up an appointment and get myself sorted, the place was clean, offered lots of hand sanitiser, they took my temperature, etc. My massage therapist, Krystal, was INCREDIBLE. We had a conversation about my areas of concern, and she was able to work on those, and surrounding knots easily. While previously I had gone to a massage place on the regular, this was a completely different (and much better) experience that left me feeling, relaxed, relieved and rested. That night, when I got home, I finally had the first decent night’s sleep in a very very long time.Oh, they also have venmo codes up on the wall for your LMT – don’t forget to tip well. And I was super thrilled to find a massage place open in my neighbourhood, especially after months of crouching over my laptop in my ill-equipped makeshift office at home. I went for chronic lower back/leg pain, and not only did Kate intuitively find to right muscles and apply ideal pressure, but she fixed things in my neck that I didn’t know were an issue. I actually felt taller when I walked out of there!
