I had the best experience at Melissa’s! Heather did such a great job with my hair and finished it in 10 minutes. She was super friendly! She gave me suggestions with a new way to touch up my roots on my blonde so that my regrowth isn’t so drastic. Will be going back to her for my future cuts and bleaching needs.

I walked in here as a walk-in on 1/21/22. I worked with Ashleigh. She was super sweet & took her time trimming up my hair. She washed, dried & straightened my hair for me to make sure that everything was straight.

We were going to use this hair salon for my daughter’s wedding. She put a deposit down on March 15, 2022 for a May wedding. They agreed to come to the venue and do hair and makeup for the entire bridal party. Today April 6th they canceled and said they were too busy with proms to be able to do our wedding!!!!! Now we are without anyone to do hair or makeup only 38 days before the wedding! Very unprofessional. Do not use these people for your wedding!

Critical: Professionalism(NEW CUSTOMER) Seemed in a rush the whole time and when I asked for layers only trimmed the bottom was gonna let me leave and then I said no I wanted layers and she said I gave you a lot of layers which were not LAYERS just chizzled at the bottom even though I showed a picture… so I said well I want more and still didn’t do it the second time. I went here with high hopes. Sadly feel that I was not valued as a new customer. While I understand the need for new hairdressers to have opportunity to develop I left feeling this was my first and last visit. I had my hair washed and cut. Both were performed by inexperienced staff. My cut was OK however when it came to styling no product was used. I have thin fine hair. Product is essential. I did not feel this was the stylists responsibility but whoever was supposed to be guiding her. When a customer is being given staff in training they should be told that. I spent $40 and had to go home to style my hair.

The last two times I have went, I have called and asked for the price on the phone, and I go in and go to checkout and it’s twice what was discussed. I didn’t argue or say anything to them about it, I handed the girl a twenty and she put in her pocket. With out offering me cash back on the amount for tip. Really rude, I’ve been going there forever. But hey when you do stuff like that you lose business.
