My shoulder was very painful, and I was considering PT, or even a cortisone shot to relieve my pain. I hadn’t slept well in months due to the shoulder pain. I visited Melissa, and she worked on my shoulder and the surrounding muscles, and I was amazed that I could tell an immediate difference in my shoulder. I don’t usually write reviews, but I had to share my experience. Her knowledge of medical massage and the techniques that she uses, is amazing! Very well worth it! I have been going to Mel for WONDERFUL massages for about 2 years. A while ago she explained the benefits of cupping and that she was now trained to do this procedure. I was a bit leery of the new method and perfectly content with my deep tissue massages, until I severely injured my back and didn’t know where to turn. After 9 days of of suffering, using all of my tried and true home remedies to no avail, I decided to go to Mel for a massage – and even some ‘gentle’ cupping. The relief was immediate and lasting!
