I was anticipating getting my nails done here bcuz I went to another salon and was disappointed. Waited a while and was signaled to sit in a vacant chair. The Nailtech was friendly BUT… the end result was horrendous! Mind u, I’m Jamaican so I know when my nails are on point. The polish was not smooth, they are broader than my actual nails, they’re all out of shape and it was EXPENSIVE! Not to mention the polish started stripping the same day!

I believe they re-use gloves which is a serious health hazard. I couldn’t be sure at the time since I had looked up only to see her putting the gloves on but I’ve worked in health care and anyone who has worn gloves knows that when you take them off they then become inside out. I could swear one of the gloves that was used was inside out to the point where she had to struggle with it. I even asked her flat-out because I wasn’t sure if she’d already used the gloves and she denied it. I only just examined my feet later that night and noticed that on my heel it was actually shaved so hard that it was red and raw which is a sign that possible blood was drawn while filing. Who knows what condition the persons feet were in before mines were done, what if they bled too? And then for the salon to turn around around re-use gloves under these conditions is scary.
