She always goes above and beyond to make sure clients are happy with their look. I have naturally curly hair and Melissa always has great ideas for coloring and styling. Sometimes I like it straight and she will take the time to straighten it for me after a hair cut. Melissa also does weddings and made sure that me and my bridal party was taken care of for my big day. We came in early to the salon and were able to get our wedding festivities started. Would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an excellent hair stylist! I have been getting my hair cut, colored, and styled by Melissa for over 10 years. She always goes above and beyond to make sure clients are happy with their look. I have naturally curly hair and Melissa always has great ideas for coloring and styling. Sometimes I like it straight and she will take the time to straighten it for me after a hair cut. She needs to feel confident and good about herself.The salon, located in the heart of Wausau, it’s tucked away in an older building, once believed to be a residence. It has a homey feel, with warm touches of decor, and a definite boutique feel. It is far different from the salons where the hairstyles are mass produced and the client is run through quickly without special attention or detail.Melissa’s work is truly an artistic creation, she has such a natural flair and the ability to see at a glance what color & style fits the individual. She is honest, straightforward, and nurturing at the same time adding her extra touch with her charming and playful personality. She has a sizable following of clients that have been with her for quite some time.In addition to superb service she is active in the community and local charities. It always smells great and there’s wonderful music playing and I look forward to my appointments. But none of that compares to Melissa‘s talent.
