i found this place looking on Google because my normal Dominican salon I go to was closed for the day. I was my daughters birthday and she wanted a wash and set and I didn’t have time to be looking all over and saw this place had great reviews so figured it was worth a try. I was born and raised and Bronx NY so I grew up on wash and sets. The place also has right on the door the specialize in natural hair of which my daughter has very coarse 4c hair like myself.

Wish I read the reviews before going . On Tuesday price was $45 but got charged $80 for a wash and set and the lady said my hair wouldn’t hold the rollers so did a was a blow and charged $20 extra for that plus $10 to pin curl. Seriously save your money. My hair is barely shoulder length and very fine to be changed that much is just ridiculous to me.

Been coming here for 6mnths with no problems. I have my ma and aunty coming but today that ends. The staff is great but the lady in charge (the tallest one) came to me and said I need a blowout. I told her no and she got an attitude and waved me off with her hand. I’ve been getting a wash set & curl since the beginning. I don’t like to be told what to get with my money when I (I) know what’s best for my hair. Another shampoo lady explained that the lady they had on my hair was new and was not fully equipped to do roller sets. All I said was I’m patient and we are going to give her a chance. I am very understanding of new employees but when it comes to your hair the business managers & owners need to make sure all employees are trained correctly before touching anyone’s hair. And to think the chick caught an attitude because I said no I don’t want that. Be careful my sister’s of color about who you spend your money with. It’s all good until you say no and that’s when you see the tru business side of folks.

Not a place for kids to get hair done. Heat is extremely too hot for hair. The stylist burnt my daughters hair and didn’t say anything. I went up to the salon looking to speak with the stylist or the manager and neither were there. Left my contact information and didn’t hear anything back. At the end of the day, I didn’t expect to get money back and not looking for free services after the stylist burnt my daughters hair. Don’t set yourself up and especially not your kids.

Firstly I wanna say that they can do some good hair and the salon is always clean and beautiful. But my biggest problem was that i took my daughter there first who is 8 and it was her first blowout granted her hair is long and thick it comes down to her waistline but i was told it would be 75 then when the lady started washing she spoke to another stylist who was helping her wash my baby hair and charged me an extra 10 dollars which i agreed to because although they claim to do natural hair i know my child has alot of hair and I didn’t have a problem with paying them but the lady that owns the salon I’m guessing she does was so rude and mean to my baby it took everything in me to keep my composure she walked off several times huffing and puffing and it gave off a sense that they think black girls don’t have long hair. Then i went back woth both of my daughters because like i siad they did a good job and it’s was all good until they started to try me because i wouldn’t let them clip my kids ends and the price kept changing i know time has changed but i don’t remember ever having to pay 85 dollars and 75 dollars for a blowout ever but that’s what i paid for both of my daughters and i she was so nice to the Dominican little girls even though they cried screamed and hollered the entire time and my girls were chilling. Then once again that lady rudely yells in my face talking about HELLO!!! because i didn’t hear her while i was talking to my daughter. She never said thank you to me even though i was a customer and she forced me to give a tip which is what i usually do but she basically insisted which turned me off and still treated me like trash all the other women working were so sweet and genuine but she has a nasty spirit. My thing is if you don’t like black people why set up shop in our neighborhood to take our money. She really hurt my 8 year old feelings because she was yelling at her like she was dumb because she flinched from the heat of the blow dryer but she didn’t do that to them Dominican kids and the saddest part is my daughter like going there

They Do amazing hair. For natural hair to last instead of straight blow out -get Deep conditioner with steamer and roller set then blow dry then flat iron . Trust me it lasts for 2 weeks or more through humidity . Shine is amazing.
