Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, QualityI cannot say enough good things about this Salon and the owner, Meleesa. From the time you walk in the door, it is warm and inviting yet during these times, also safe. I love that the products used are all sustainable as well as most current and trending. However the best feature of the Salon is Meleesa herself, her knowledge, styles, coloring, positive energy and beautiful heart… Gypsy is a big plus too….. I cannot say enough good things about this Salon and the owner, Meleesa. From the time you walk in the door, it is warm and inviting yet during these times, also safe. I love that the products used are all sustainable as well as most current and trending. However the best feature of the Salon is Meleesa herself, her knowledge, styles, coloring, positive energy and beautiful heart… Gypsy is a big plus too….. I have been seeing Meleesa for cut and color for over 5 years and I would not trust anyone else with my hair. I love her salon – as soon as I walk in I feel the amazing vibes and everyone is so friendly. I love that they are sustainable and use vegan products. Meleesa is so skilled in her craft, she is an artist and has so much experience with different hair textures and styles. I love chatting with her and I always enjoy the time I spend in the salon.

Ive had just about every service they offer at one time or another and use the products they sell exclusively. I had my bridal party there for hair and makeup almost five years ago as well. Currently, I get my hair done by Meleesa and my eyelashes from Aubrey and Melissa. They are the absolute best! All of them. The feeling of calm always washes over me the moment I walk in the door and I know the women there create that environment organically and without thought. They are beautiful humans and I adore them all dearly. I have been going to Meleesa’s Salon since she opened. Ive had just about every service they offer at one time or another and use the products they sell exclusively. I had my bridal party there for hair and makeup almost five years ago as well. Currently, I get my hair done by Meleesa and my eyelashes from Aubrey and Melissa. They are the absolute best! All of them. The feeling of calm always washes over me the moment I walk in the door and I know the women there create that environment organically and without thought. I have been seeing Meleesa for my highlights and cut over the last 3 years, and I will remain a loyal, forever customer. The salon is bright, positive, professional, and has such an amazing energy! I’ve never loved my hair more!

Critical: ValueHad never visited this salon before but after seeing a few positive reviews on their braid bar, I decided to give them a try. Other reviews reported paying approx. $25-$35 for braids, with most of these including colored hair extensions. The affordability of the braid bar was a major factor in my choice to try this salon.I came in right before Christmas for a quick style of two Dutch/box braids; no wash, no cut, no extensions, just asked for two Dutch braids on my natural hair. It took the stylist 20 minutes, and I definitely appreciated her swiftness. When it was time to pay, I was SHOCKED that she charged me $45 for two simple Dutch braids. I’ve paid nearly the same amount for wash + style at other blowout bars (ex. $50 for styling at DryBar). I feel a bit taken advantage of, as I don’t think I was charged fairly or consistently with other customers. I understand that it’s the stylists’ own choice to set their prices, not the salon, but the discrepancy between what I was charged and what other customers were for similar styles turned me off from the salon altogether.Services: Braids, Box BraidsHad never visited this salon before but after seeing a few positive reviews on their braid bar, I decided to give them a try. I don’t have great hair, it’s not thin but it is fine and super straight with one really annoying cowlick. It’s troublesome for many stylists because I am also easily bored and change my color, length and style often. Meleesa the Salon Is perfect for me, they use high quality natural products to keep my hair healthy despite all the processing and are great at guiding me in my fresh looks so I don’t do something that is unflattering. The salon has a fun, chill, boho vibe and happy people inside.
