Critical: ProfessionalismI have made an appointment in the past with Mekajoi_Stylez for my daughter and we were very satisfied so we were shocked at what happened today. My daughter had an appointment today at 10am to get her hair braided. We booked the appointment through Booksy, which she instructed me to do and I booked the appointment two and a half weeks ago. The appointment was confirmed the same day. We arrived at your place at the appointed time (today, July 10th @ 10am) and the number that I had for her did not go through and was not a working number. I was still able to get into her building because someone was coming out. We knocked on your door numerous times but there was no answer.How was my daughter’s appointment confirmed yet she did not make yourself available to braid her hair? That was a HUGE inconvenience for us because we had other plans today but because she did not call us or make ANY attempt to communicate that she was not going to be available those plans fell through. I had to scramble to get my daughter’s hair done by someone else at the last minute! I will not be making anymore appointments through Booksy because I don’t trust it now. I have made an appointment in the past with Mekajoi_Stylez for my daughter and we were very satisfied so we were shocked at what happened today. My daughter had an appointment today at 10am to get her hair braided. We booked the appointment through Booksy, which she instructed me to do and I booked the appointment two and a half weeks ago. I have wanted to get my hair twisted so that I could keep it longer than a wash n go and simply because I am always so busy. She finger detangled my hair and barely used any styling tools. She braided the roots before twisting the rest of my hair (which was a style I recently came across and wanted to try) without me even having to ask! The end result was beautiful and neat. NO PUFFY ROOTS!!! I will definitely be going back for touch up and re-styling!PS. My twists were nice and stretched the day she styled them because she did a blow out first, and I was amazed…but now after a few days of moisture filled air and rain…I AM IN LOVE. My twists have shrunken and curled due to the moisture and has added fullness to the style. YES, will definitely come to Meka again!Service: HairstylingMy twists never come out right on my own. My twists never come out right on my own. Meka did a FABULOUS job! I have wanted to get my hair twisted so that I could keep it longer than a wash n go and simply because I am always so busy. She finger detangled my hair and barely used any styling tools.
