Critical: Professionalism, PunctualityI was really excited about trying Megan Nails after a local girl with really pretty nails recommended them. I booked an appointment over the phone. Note: they inconveniently do not have online booking features. I selected a style that was a new age spin on French, being my first time there I figured I would try a fairly simple style . For an evening appt, the tech was very rushed which showed in her work. (See picture). I had seen the tech beside her (Hannah- I would later find out her name) do a very beautiful design on an admittedly “difficult” client, who was very picky but had no idea what she wanted. (She later gossiped about that client to the next girl in her chair.) Never the less, I resolved that she would do my nails next time as designs was what I was looking for. I came to the salon to book my second time and couldn’t remember the face of the tech I was looking for. Hannah greeted me at the door and I told her after some confusion that she was indeed who I was trying to book. She seemed very agitated and impatient at my lack of knowledge of the techs and said “I’ve never done nails for you,” “Who’s your friend,” “Why you want to book me?”I tried to explain that I liked her work to which she lost patience and walked away to tend back to her client, leaving me standing at the welcome station. Very rude. I waited for a younger lady to come out from the back and asked if she would help me book the appointment to which Hannah continued to rebuttal and speak in their foreign tongue. A bit frustrated, I asked “Is there an issue?” and “If she doesn’t want to do my nails I will just book with the guy ( Tim, I still didn’t know names at the point). The lady now helping me assured that everything was okay and that she was just trying to be “friendly” wondering if I knew Hannah’s work off of Instagram. Funny way of being friendly. I would hate to see her enemies. Lol. Skip to next visit, went fairly smooth but I felt like Hannah was making comments about me as Tim was doing my nails. (Their stations are right next to each other at the front.) I let it slide and chucked it up to paranoia. Surely she was not mad about our previous incident where SHE was blatantly rude to ME. Skip to today, Tim is almost finishing up my nails and I can hear Hannah starting up again. She proceeds to gossip to her client about the girl that always wants designs and different colors and “today she asked for marble, “ she gossiped. She continues to tell the client that the girl asked her “what’s her problem?” and continues on. It’s obvious that “that girl” is me as the client questions “Her?” and proceeds to turn straight to me. Now this is the final straw. Hannah is completely rude and unprofessional and just plain tacky. It’s plainly unacceptable. I informed Tim of the misconduct to which he said something to her in their language— her response—— “it’s none of her business.“ Needless to say after three attempts, I won’t be back. Horrible customer service. Subpar designs. Overbooked services. I usually go here for pedicures, but after going this past December, I am not sure if I will ever return again. Whenever I walk in, it feels like nobody would want to take my service. Then, when I went to get my pedicure done, the guy doing my nails was not very gentle and he was rushing. Usually when I get my pedicures elsewhere, they take their time and are not aggressive with my toes. I asked for french tip and they never told me it was an up charge. The french tip wasn’t even either. I paid and left without saying anything because 1. the last time I went there, I should’ve never came back because it was the same thing & 2. I didn’t feel comfortable saying anything as the last time I mentioned something about my nails there were attitudes. Ever since they’ve became “the spot” their service has gone downhill and I’ve been going to them for a while. My mom even has complaints about their service and refuses to go there again because of the treatment she receives too. Definitely don’t recommend this salon. I’ve managed to find better salons that I will be going to. Might be a little more of a drive, but it’s worth it for better service.

I have been a client almost 10 years. The owners, Hannah and Timmy are very nice and personable. I give the sculpting, nail art, and designs a 10 out of 10. People stop me all the time and ask who did my nails! You won’t be disappointed! Acrylic nails, Nail art, Dip powder, Manicure, Gel manicures, Pedicure, Waxing, Foot massages

Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI called a couple days before my appointment and requested Hannah and was told to arrive for my appointment at 10:00. I arrived at 9:45 for a gel mani/pedi and was assisted by an older gentleman instead. Being a nail salon novice, I just assumed he would be prepping me for my service with the person I requested. I was wrong. He was extremely rough on my feet and hands (my fingers were sore for two days after my service) I had to mention it to him several times. The paint job was so sloppy that I had to return for them to fix it. After all that, my nails started chipping 6 days later. At the time, I felt obligated to pay because so much time has been spent on me, but I regret not speaking up sooner. The service was not worth the $100 I spent and I will not be returning. Don’t make the same mistake I made. Be sure to speak up and have any mistakes corrected before you leave.Service: Gel manicuresI called a couple days before my appointment and requested Hannah and was told to arrive for my appointment at 10:00. This was my first time at megan nails and it will be my last. I got dip powder and the shaping is horrible, it took him almost 2 hrs. He didn’t remove any cuticles or even pushed back my cuticles. I left with dip powder on the side of my fingers because he did not take his time to clean up my nails. Dip powder
