I called for an appointment last week. I was a returning patient although had not been there for a couple (?) of yrs due to covid. But now I want to be checked. I was told that it had been 3 yrs in August so now I was considered a new patient….and the wait time was one year!!! You have got to be kidding. Very unhappy with that. Told her forget it. It is just ridiculous. They are lucky I gave them one star

The staff was very helpful and friendly. Dr Kinneston treated me and he was awesome. Treated me and took care of all of my needs. Answered all of my questions and was very kind and compassionate.

I was very unsatisfied with my two trips to Meadville Dermatology. Tiffany didn’t spend anywhere near enough time with me, it felt like she couldn’t be bothered being there. I didn’t even get enough time to ask questions before she up and left the exam room. I felt there was no ‘real’ course of treatment other than using lotion on my ‘thick skin’. She didn’t seem to want to treat my eczema with steroids or pills. It felt to me like she didn’t care about what I was feeling.

This is the best you can get. A good DR who genuinely will work out the best treatment for you in the room while giving you input, not rushed. Also, his staff will go the extra mile finding you something covered under your insurance. It’s nice and isolated, not part of a giant facility. My doctor is doctor Dineston.

When I needed to find a local in-network Dermatologist, I scheduled an appointment with Meadville Dermatology. Because I was a new patient, without immediate need, it was a six month wait. Upon arrival, I was presented with paperwork indicating that I would be charged for professional services and facility fees. I agreed, assuming this would probably mean an additional $30 charge. As I waited in the examining room for the doctor, I recall being impressed by the decor and I wondered about the costs associated. Throughout my consultation, the doctor was thorough and the staff were professional. I was out of the building in less than 30 minutes after arriving, pleased with the appointment. Weeks later, I was surprised when I received the bill to find a $272.87 charge for professional services and $338 charge for facility use. When I called to speak with Meadville Medical Center about the bill, I was referred to a manager. When I expressed concern about the costs, I was told that it takes a lot of money to operate the facility and the doctor merely provides services in the building, so I was charged for use of the room. When I explained that I only sat in the room and was finished in less than 30 minutes from start to finish, she simply said that is the fee for using the facilities and I was reminded that I signed the agreement. I explained that if I had been told explicitly in the agreement that I would incur a $338 fee for sitting in the examining room, I would have rescheduled with another facility. When I asked if she would choose to leave an appointment being given that information, she was unable to respond. Patients should be fully aware of the charges they will receive before services are rendered. In speaking with others, I have since learned that they experienced the same situation and were unhappy with the facility charges (not professional services) but embarrassed by their agreement. I am posting this as a reminder to investigate your options and ask questions prior to services rendered. If I would’ve been better informed, I would’ve made a different choice, not because of the professional, but rather, the associated facility.

At the old location they were fine, we showed up for our appointment which we were informed by two people was at 11:30, and it turned out to be 10:30. We were also informed that a 7:30 p.m. phone call was their automated system, yet it failed to leave a message. If you make an appointment now be sure to double, and triple check.

Buyer beware, one office visit andy insurance was billed $3640.00, I called to ask why this amount was billed. Had several spots on my hands that were treated. No surgery, no botox, no peels, what a rip-off. I will not be returning.

The office staff was empathetic and kind. Dr. Sam has an incredible bedside manner. He was patient and careful during the entire procedure and for the first time in my life, I felt no pain. My incision healed to an almost non-existent mark.

The only reason Im giving this 2 stars is the staff were friendly and welcoming. But when I got into the room to get a wart frozen off they only sprayed a tiny bit on and told me to use wart medication after that. Nothing has healed and the freeze stuff didnt even do anything. I would recommend going somewhere else even if its covered by insurance….
