Very courteous and personable. Amanda and her assistant Wendy, made me feel comfortable during my skin exam. They don’t push products. They only recommend what I needed for my skin. Amanda talked with me about sun exposure and discussed measures I needed to take to protect my skin. She also gave me a sample of Heliocare to try. Before I left, she also gave me a pamphlet that showed me how to check my skin between Annual Exams.

I had a great experience with Amanda Lark and all the staff. My surgery was conducted very efficiently and I was talked through the entire process as it was happening and felt very safe and cared for throughout. After care was explained thoroughly and I even got a call from Amanda that evening to check on how I was doing. I very much felt important and cared for which was a huge comfort.

Dr. Newton M.D. and his assistant during my visit were very professional, courteous and at ease. Both answered all my questions and made sure that I was comfortable during my annual checkup and very small procedure. I was not so happy with was the way I was treated when I went to check out. The person that I spoke with was dry, unfriendly and seemed to be bothered that I questioned the amount owed verses my co-pay. She simple said “we are specialist and that’s just how your insurance works, 20/80 no co-pay”. Would have been good to know this ahead of time??? I got the feeling she really didn’t care one way or the other about my concerns and to just pay the bill. The medical staff an A+ but the administrative staff I met get an D- at best.

Although my experience with Dr Newton was alright I was annoyed to have to wait over an hour to be seen. My appointment was for 11:15 am. & I arrived 25 minutes early. I wasn’t seen until about 12:20 pm. I overheard Dr. Newton arrive at the office about 20 min before he actually saw me. He was pleasant, but there was no apology for making me wait so long. Not a great first impression. The front desk staff & nurses were great, but no apologies from them either. I’ll give them one more chance, but not what I was expecting.

I’ve always felt very confident regarding any procedures or routine skin checks at the FM office. My last visit was with Dr. Newton. He was very thorough. He and his Asst. we’re both very professional, personable and caring. I recommend this office to my friends on a regular basis.
