I booked MC Hair Collective for mine and my bridal party’s hair and makeup for my wedding in Sep 2022 and I cannot say better things about our experience with them! They did such a fantastic job and everyone looked so beautiful. Gena (the coordinator for booking) was so friendly and accessible – she was very quick to respond to emails and answered any questions I had to ensure a smooth wedding getting ready location for my bridal party and me! I did my bridal hair and makeup trials with them, so we could figure out exactly what I wanted and it was executed just perfectly. I got so many compliments on my look! We also were able to have a space to ourselves in the back of the studio for the day of where we could set our stuff down, eat, drink, etc which was so nice- I would highly recommend them. They just absolutely rocked it!

I cannot say enough positive words for everyone at this place. They did my bridal party hair and makeup and we all looked beautiful. Even more, they were able to help us out last minute. The makeup artists and hair stylists listened to us and did amazing work. I would highly recommend them. They saved my wedding day and I am so thankful. I got so many complaints on how beautiful I looked!

I’m rarely one to leave bad reviews, but photos from my wedding hair and makeup trial with MC last fall popped up on my phone this morning and I felt like I had to say something to other brides doing their research. I’m really thankful this was just a trial, because I looked awful! My main issue was the quality of makeup used. The artist used Makeup Revolution foundation, which is about $8-10 at the drugstore. Nothing wrong with that for daily life, but I’m still so bewildered that a professional makeup artist would use that foundation and how it could have possibly made it through an entire wedding day or looked good in photos. My face looked shiny, patchy, streaky, and oxidized within a couple of hours. The foundation was completely gone from my nose, my undereye area was creased (I never have this issue at home), and the contour looked orange. I basically looked like I had stripes of concealer, foundation and bronzer on my face instead of a properly blended base. It aged my skin by about 5 years. My eye makeup faded quickly, and the false lash application was uneven. Lipstick (I think it was NYX?) wore off immediately. Again, nothing wrong with drugstore makeup, but to pay a professional price for that product quality seemed really odd to me. I can’t imagine how I would feel if I looked like that on my actual wedding day.

Kaitlin is a peach! I went in for long highlights and poor girl spent like 4 hours trying to perfect them! I definitely closed the place down. Everyone was so nice and pleasant. I really appreciated all the time and effort Kaitlin put into my hair. It was being stubborn and she really put in great efforts to give me very nice highlights! I recommend her!

The salon really knows what they are doing. They treat customers really well. The woman who did my hair was very knowledgeable and offered to trim my hair even though it wasn’t included in the price because I had a bad haircut just before coming for color treatment. Only complaint is I made a 5:45 pm appointment and didn’t get service until nearly 6:30 pm, which for what you pay, it would be nice to ensure it’s on time. But otherwise it was great!
