I have been to this place three times. The first two the results were great. The third time I came into the salon I was not satisfied. I asked for the first picture and I got the rest of pictures. My braids were so tight that my scalp was bleeding and bulging. What they did was nothing compared to what I asked for. They do not look the same. The braiders are very rude and they have no mercy on your head. I took the hair out the same night, I had the little white things coming out from my edges. I had to take medication while they were braiding and after because it hurt so bad. I went back the very next day and asked for a refund. They said they could not do that but they did offer to give me another style, my head was still hurting to bad to have anyone touch my head. The lady told me it cost 80.00 for the hair that they used and a whole lot of other stuff and that is why my total was so much. The amount of hair that was in my head was no where near 80.00 worth. I would not refer this salon to anyone. I am never going back to this salon.

Very good work with my hair and was able to get a good price for my Senegalese braids. I walked into a good atmosphere. The owner was very nice and made sure before she started on my hair the size and price was situated. The only thing I didn’t like was I got my hair washed and she was very rough with combing my hair out before she had to blow dry my hair. My hair is very fragile so I had to constantly tell her to hold my hair and comb it and not just be all rough when combing my hair, but other than the roughness very good work so far!! Called for an appointment around 2:30pm because my previous braider overbooked. Ms. Sylvia told me to come in and they would take care of me. I was there about 3:15 and Sabrina and Valarie immediately started my hair. I was finished around 6 without any pain or discomfort. They were very pleasant and friendly. This is my NEW braiding salon and I highly recommend their services.

I got my hair done there this past Friday. I got Senegalese, the 180 braids. There were a couple shorts braids and I brought it to their attention. I asked would they be able to fit in a ponytail and the only response I got was “it will, it’s longer than your hair.” They did not attempt to fix the short braids. Also, they were so heavy handed, it felt ling they were trying to rip my hair out of my head. they first woman was pretty gentle and they was moving fast. she stopped for about 45 min to start someone else’s hair. I told the 2nd woman that it was really hurting. I think she may have told the 1st woman who left, that because when she started braiding my hair again, there was NO MERCY! It was like they were in competition to see who could tear my hair out of my scalp the fastest. I had to take medication just to get through the process. Also, there was another woman getting her hair done. The woman braiding her hair kept stopping to send and check her text messages. It was so excessive the woman getting her hair done was visibly upset. The owner Silvia was sitting right there watching everything and never once asked her to stop and focus on her customer. This was my 1st time at this shop, It will probably be my last, and I definitely would not refer anyone there.

I did not get what I asked for and the braids were too big and as of today (4-8-2018) they are still really stiff. I don’t know if it’s because of the hair they used or the way it has been braided. It seems the two ladies that braided my hair were not experienced on what I asked for. This was my first and last time using this establishment for braids. The staff had very pleasant attitudes. I would also suggest that only one braider work on your hair if you are asking for a specific style. I have two types of braids in my hair because you can tell which braider did which half/side of my hair. This is the first time I have ever been dissatisfied with a braiding experience.

I had an 8:00 appointment and the greeting was very nice and friendly, but when I decided on getting 5 goddess braids the owner put me with a person that did not know how to do them properly and the braider had a big hump at the beginning of the braid. When I told the braider that goddess braids does not start out like that she acted confused and the owner was talking to me like I didn’t know the difference between goddess braids and feed-in braids so I had to let her know that I’ve had goddess braids several times and they never looked like that and I needed her to take that out and start over. Of course they started speaking in their language and all eyes were on me like i was being difficult. The owner ended up getting another braider to do my hair but I will not go back or recommend this place to anyone. Reason being, the braids are not very neat and the ends doesn’t lay flat on my back, they are like spider legs all over the place so I had to end up putting it in a bun which was difficult because the braids are uneven. This was the worst experience that I’ve had with a braiding shop.
