Monika is a dream! I usually don’t repeat service with same stylist because I’m never 100% satisfied with the results and experience…. I just moved to this area 6 months ago and I’ve already seen Monika 3 times! She really is the entire package. Personality wise, she’s sweet, easy going and so fun to chat with. Professionally, she is AMAZING at what she does. I came to her with many different kinds of dark box dye in my hair and I of course wanted to go blonde. She listened to what I wanted and came up with a game plan to make it happen in the most healthy way for my hair.

I am posting this review under my husband’s account because I do not have my own. Monika is THE BEST!!! Not only do both of my girls and I go to her for cuts and color, she has also saved us from a major hair emergency. My daughter has waist length hair that became severely matted due to a braided hairstyle mixed with salt water and wind. I personally worked on detangling it for 10 or more hours. After being exhausted I wound up taking her to a different salon where two girls worked on it for another 5 hours. Needless to say neither was very successful and my daughter was losing hope that her hair would be able to be saved. Monika was able to change some appointments around to squeeze her in at the end of the day. She worked tirelessly over 6 hours to get the knot out. Although a ton of hair was lost due to the size and tightness of the knot, Monika managed to save a lot of her hair! We went back in a couple of days for a good cut and style and it’s barely noticeable! Monika was so gentle, patient, and as sweet as ever. She saved us from days of mental and physical anguish that most people could never imagine. She is AMAZING! My girls and I will never be letting anyone else touch our hair ever again!

Monika is super nice and very professional with her work. I’ve been to her for all my beauty needs! She did my hair/makeup for my senior pictures. My hair/makeup for prom and recently dyed my hair for me and I have been extremely happy with the ending results of all three!! I’d come in with a picture of what I wanted, and Monika would get it as close, (or even better!) than the picture I’d show her. Her prices are also super reasonably for the amount of time and hard work she puts into her clients and she makes sure that they leave her Salon happy and confident!!! I would highly recommend Monika Gallardo to anyone looking for a makeup/hairstylist for special events/occasions or if you need someone to to do your hair just because. She is definitely the person to see!!

I travel from Austin to get my hair done with MBG, because Monika is simply the best. I always leave feeling like a brand new woman. Her prices reflect her amazing work!!!! She is always so kind and even though she is just my hair stylist she is ready to listen to my own personal issues, that’s a plus! Monika is a hair goddess. She’s educated about hair in all kinds of ways. She has brought my hair back to life after being significantly damaged from other hairstylists and taking their advice. I originally went in for hair extensions because it was so damaged. She was very honest and told me it would not be the right thing to do, however she could get my hair back to being healthy. Which is exactly what she had done. Her pricing is reasonable and reflects quality. The location of her salon is wonderful, and convenient if you want to shop afterwards.
