I’ve been going here for at least 10 years. I had one bad experience, I made it known, and service has been on point since. I highly recommend Adam as your stylist, if you go.

If I could rate this place a 0 I would, they was trying to over charge me for just a wash and condition .. then after I just accepted the price , they were extremely rude ! I use to go there all the time , but they have changed so much! I will never be going back!

Critical: ProfessionalismWent on to get my daughters hair done …. They asked to see their hair first . Mind you they have naturally curly hair . The first thing that came out the man mouth is let me see if you can afford it? I said money is not a problem usually when provoke for service. Then he told me I have to leave my minor Children their . I said I would think you would want me to stay since they are minors. Then he said take one and come back as if I lived close to do such a thing . Needless to say I left and found another place.Went on to get my daughters hair done …. Critical: Professionalism, PunctualitySince I was 7 years old, every 3 months my mom will send me here because her job was next door. Every time I would come, Mike would take good care of me and send me on my way. My hair texture never change, I am a natural women with course hair. In today’s time, each time that I’ve came here the price will change depending on who greats me. But again the price doesn’t scares me away. What scares me away is how I’m treated each time. This place is a walk in salon. So when I walked in 2:30pm , he (never knew his name but he’s brown skinned) asked to feel the texture or my hair and stated a price. He then proceeded to state that I will have to come back at 3:30 pm because he going to lunch for an hour. I then asked when I come back at 3:30pm how long will it takes for me to be blow dried and styled and he answers 1 hours. I return at 3:30pm and was washed immediately. There was a women here eating but she wasn’t being serviced right away which means I should’ve been first to be styled. While I’m being put under the dryer for a deep conditioning she’s now being washed. Okay fine a normal service of first in first out. My dryer goes off and instead of continuing with the services the shampoo woman starts the dryer again, no complaints there maybe she thought that my coursed hair needed the extra process. A older lady walks in and gets shampooed and put right into the stylist chair. He then began to style her but her style took no time. Before her hair was finished I have been rinsed again and sat into the waiting chair to be styled next. But once he finished with the older lady he then took a break which I knew then he was waiting for the second person who had been shampooed to sit in the chair. Which is what happened. So here I am at 5pm still sitting in the waiting chair with damped hair and very upset but not showing any signs of being upset because all I just want to do it get my hair done in the timely fashion as every one else and as the time he informed me my hair will takes. This has got to stop! I would’ve respect that he denied me service than to make me be that last one because of my hair type.Update: it’s now 5:30pm and I walked out in tears. I finally get in his chair and he asks how would I like it styled. I love the feathered style that they do and that’s what brings me back to them every time. So when I told him feathered he say no, you have to cut your hair. I explained to him I come every year in January to start my year off good and every time I get feathers with no problems and I even showed him a pictures stamped with a date. In so many words he say that’s their choice. So fed up at the moment I asked him why did he make me wait all that time to now say he won’t do my hair the way I’m paying for. The way he was talking made me feel so uncomfortable that I just asked him can he just blow dry my hair and asked him for the price. The wash and blow dry price was just $20 less from the styled price and when I questioned why so much he said he’ll give me a discount and I was okay with that. Before he started to blow dry my hair he asked me to pay and that when the tears started to fall. Being a African American woman I know when someone thinks I’m not capable of paying for something. Why would I try to skip out on a $65 bill when I was willing to pay $95. So I asked how much for just the wash and deep conditioning because at this point I’m very uncomfortable with him in my head at all and he said free and let me walk out of that shop with my hair wet and crying. I will never step foot in that salon again and pray that any African American women who wants to go here have tough skin.Since I was 7 years old, every 3 months my mom will send me here because her job was next door. Very expensive No Set Prices. But the hair tech i had. did and excellent job with my hair. Your examined upon entry and quoted a price. Normally other salons offer a list of services with the price. So be your own judge on this one guys.

Nice choice if you’re in a rush or can’t book anywhere else. Customer service is on point and service is very quick. If you have thick natural hair like mines this is probably not the place for you. The style and flow of my hair only last about 2 days. I don’t think anyone should pay $65 for a 2 day hairstyle.

This was my first time going and I set an appointment, the service was fast and the wash lady was great. But when I started to get my hair blown out she was really rough and smacking in the head with the brush. Also she didn’t even try to comb my hair out before blown drying it so she was pulling really hard on my hair. She started at the root and was pulling down. After the blow dry I got my hair flat iron but I wanted body as in curls the man who did my hair said that I can’t have curls because my hair is thick which made no sense because I always get my hair done that way. With that being said I would never go back. I paid money for them to do something I could of done at home but better.
