Traveling from MA, I was looking for a local hair salon and I’m so glad I found Mayra’s Hair Salon! It’s a quick Uber ride from the boardwalk and the service was *chef’s kiss. I found this location while visiting Atlantic City and wanted to get my hair pressed. The staff was friendly and it took 2 hours for service to be performed on my natural hair. The humidity got to my hair immediately after service lol. I should have followed my first instinct and got it wrapped.

I cannot stress how these ladies starting from the owner have so much professional knowledge. They know what they are doing and on point with getting you in and out love that Myra explains the products, explains coloring process she is just phenomenal and is always available any day but Sunday she has failed me yet …. Love love it here!!!

I came to Myra a year ago with out-of-control long hair and was diagnosed with alopecia. I don’t trust anyone with my hair but her. I travel from Mt. Poconos 3 hours away just to come to her shop. She is the best and the prices are great.

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality, ValueI travel to AC fairly often for work and found Mayra’s Beauty Salon on one of my walkabouts 5 years ago. I’ve been going there (from NYC 2.5 hour drive each way) ever since. It’s worth it the trip!!! From wash and set to specialty hair coloring, Mayra gets it right all the time. The wait is usually less than 10 minutes. All the ladies are friendly. The establishment is always clean and they adhere to COVID-19 Precautions/Protocols which makes me feel safe. The prices are beyond reasonable especially for the level of service they provide. Mayra is the best!! She has over 40 yrs of experience. My 1st time. And the best time. My hair was exactly as I wanted. Luxurious, full of life, bouncy bounce. !! Plz go there. You will be pleased. Ps. She also has someone for lashes. Where Ms. Castro not only puts on lashes, she also can treat them. Hey hey hey!! Thats my next appt. Need to upgrade on a budget.. and Mayra works to my budget.. she’s fair!! Will let you know when the lashes are done!!

My hair was left very bouncy and shiny with a nice short cut. I got highlights from here September, 2017. Its know December, 2018 and there still here! Very beautiful work! The salon is nicely cleaned and the prices are appropriate compared to other places I’ve been. Not very packed with people and it’s only about an hour to get a blow-out. They except debit and credit and walk ins are welcome, I came on Christmas eve and they were happy to do my hair. The hair artist speak Spanish and English and they are very nice.
