I’ve been coming here for a year now and things are usually OK, nothing special. I will no longer be back due to these two reasons..Once i had rushed to their salon after my night shift and arrived about 8:50pm, 10 minutes before they close. I know this sucks, i get it, but I work all week and had a flight to catch for LA the next morning. Mind you – it was for a very important, celebrity hosted event. Not that i had expressed this, but it truly shouldn’t matter. The woman at the desk told me there wouldn’t be enough time for me..even though they were technically still open. So i had to go elsewhere. If you don’t want to work past 9 or be a receptionist, switch careers. Yesterday I had a horrible experience with the machine, my face looked like i had a million freckles or was having a reaction, and the lady at the desk gave me a wipe to solve my problems….really? i paid $25 to get a shitty tan and you gave me a wipe? $25 for a booth spray is a rip off, let alone this poor quality.

When sun tan city sold to zoom I was so upset bc I don’t like the stand up booths and then i found maximum tan and I have been sooo pleased with their bed equipment/bulbs, I have had to wait for a bed all of 2 times since I’ve been tanning for almost 3years with them now .. That is incredible all in itself ! The flow of this company in my eyes is phenomenal !! And last but not least !! After covid 19 hit and everything shut down for 3 months … when I went back once they reopened Courtney (an employee at the Brighton/ Monroe ave location) greeted me by name and then proceeded to tell me how she was thinking of me the other day because of a product that I absolutely love that they’ve discontinued and one of their other locations had a couple bottles left so if I wanted to call over there and go grab them, I could. Talk about being personable (which is a big characteristic I personally like at tanning salons because I tan year round, I am a regular. I’m in there every day & I want somebody that’s gonna remember me and not just look at me as as “another number” & with this salon associate, Courtney I was so happy to see her again and feel listened to..I would like Maximum tan to know what an amazing employee they have at their Brighton location with Courtney. She is absolutely a benefit to maximum Tan and I hope that they see that and appreciate her because I know that their customers do!! I absolutely loveeee maximum tan! I started an Maximum tan two days and Im already impressed. So clean, no wait time and such a knowledgeable staff, Jen and Danielle ( the two managers) were beyond helpful. I will never go back to another salon. I have color after only two days! Id recommend Maximum Tan to anyone!
