Critical: Professionalism, QualityMy sister wanted her acrylics removed, they refused stating they couldn’t remove them for her. I wanted dipping powder removal and reapplication. The removal process was AWFUL. The girl had no clue what she was doing and hurt me alot. She then rammed a cuticle pusher deep under my cuticles and lifted them up like a crowbar. It hurt SO BAD. Then she cut them so deeply I was bleeding on most fingers. I then bailed on the idea of having my bloody cut fingers into the powder cup for fear of infection and/or the pain. Instead I just got a clear coat and left. Not to mention the girl was very rude. It was the worst nail experience I’ve ever had. My sister wanted her acrylics removed, they refused stating they couldn’t remove them for her. I wanted dipping powder removal and reapplication. The removal process was AWFUL. Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI’m afraid to rate this spa as 5-star because I don’t want the word to get around about how good they are and not be able to get in! I can afford to go to any spa in Baltimore, but prefer Maxim’s in Berlin for everything. I get the best gel manicures here and my husband refuses to get his pedicures anywhere else. My daughter, daughter-in-law, and son are also “hooked” and a trip to our beach house always includes spa time at Maxims! I’m afraid to rate this spa as 5-star because I don’t want the word to get around about how good they are and not be able to get in! I can afford to go to any spa in Baltimore, but prefer Maxim’s in Berlin for everything. I get the best gel manicures here and my husband refuses to get his pedicures anywhere else.
