I decided to give this salon a try & I did not regret it one bit! Everything was great! It’s so clean and nice & relaxing. Christine gave me an amazing massage with my pedicure, if I could give them 10 stars I would! Fairly priced too, I will definitely be back. Plus my nails look amazing!

New owner Christina is amazing and funny and very sweet. Give it a go. She has revamped the entire salon and it is beautiful. Micheal is amazing and both really know what there are doing. You will not be disappointed.

I cannot believe that in desperate attempts to get a nail fixed before my cruise, I chose to visit a terribly reviewed place, but I am SO GLAD I did! First of all, this place is in new ownership and no longer called Maxim. VENUS is it’s new name. The owner Christina is a total doll! The reviews were all targeted at the old owner who sounds awful! Christina did a beautiful job on my nails, and her other nail tech did a beautiful job on my girlfriend. I think it would be a Yelp injustice to not write this review and let others know that this little gem is worth the visit

This place is now called Venus Nail & Spa. I went based on the more recent reviews and I stopped in today and asked if I could make an appt for full set gel, and pedi. They were courteous and accomodating. I then called back and asked if I could add an appt for my husband to have a pedi too, they said no problem. They did call and ask if I could come a 1/2 hr later than I requested, which actually worked out better for my schedule. I sat with Peter, he was excellent. My husband had his pedi done by Kellie (sp?) They were both very kind, and engaged in conversation.

Terrible place! If you want to get nail fungus – this is the place! When I’ve noticed, that the nail equipment is not individual, it was used for the customer before me, I said that it’s not acceptable. In return I was told, that then I have to bring MY OWN nail equipment because it too excpensive to have a new one for each customer! They charge $25 – $28 for gel manicure and I have to bring my own nail equipment???

First time here for a gel manicure. Just walked in and was served immediately. Staff is super friendly and attentive. Apparently they’re under different management now. They go by Venus Nails & Spa. $25 for a gel mani was a steal! People need to give this place a try!

They rush through pedicure- less than 30 minutes all together, give one coat of polish and its streaky. They didn’t touch my callous or cuticles, and the foot massage was a 30 second foot slap! He smudged the polish and left it that way, even though he saw it before I did. I’ve given them two chances, and I wish I had that $50 back. I’ll never go back.

I went in and got the pedi mani with a friend of mine. My nails were cut unevenly, the first hot stone was cold, the second was hit but, Lee just slid the stone hap hazardly and was uncomfortable. As a man I get mani pedis from a verity of solons and this is the worst I have ever encountered. My friend had a bad toe and hand nail polish she noticed after we left. We went back today for re-polish and they we rude and blamed her. She left and went to Ocean Nails and Spa, highly recommend this nail salon.

This was the best salon/spa that I’ve been to! They were extremely considerate and friendly, especially to my mother and aunt who were visiting from up north. If you are looking for a salon that is safe, clean, with reasonable prices, this is a great place!
