So I called and asked if eyebrow threading was a provided service there. I was told yes and to walk in any time. Upon arrival I requested that my eyebrows be THREADED! Next thing I know I’m laying thier being assaulted by hot wax being ripped off my forehead!! I asked her what she was doing and she replied ,” oh we don’t do threading ” !!!!!!!!!??? I don’t do wax because it breaks me out and if I did it wouldn’t be by someone I know. I don’t recommend this place and ontop of the they just lost their only real asset, Fran. (If you know then you know )

I felt the need to review when I saw the previous review!! I am a faithful customer of Maxim Nails. Maxim is not your run of the mill nail salon. Although they do take walk-ins, they probably prefer appointments. I always make an appointment. The staff take the time to make sure your nails look perfect when you leave their salon. They are not only talented, but very personable. So, if you just want to walk in expecting immediate mani pedi, I would suggest you go to the nearest strip mall in a different part of town. After all, you get what you pay for.

I’ve been going since they opened in Selbyville. Friendly, comfortable and most importantly a quiet environment. Their gel manicures last me a month and I am rough on my hands. I like having my own kit stored there.

This was the worst experience I’ve had at a salon, the only thing that was nice was that they took us in right away even without an appointment. I got a manicure (French tips). My nails were clipped and filed to far back to the point were they were hurting. The French tip was too big and every tip was uneven. I had previously had gel nails on and they didn’t bother to tell me that it costs $5 to remove gel. I DO NOT recommend.

I tried to call about 10:45am on a Tuesday (they were open, I checked), and immediately I got their voicemail plus the message also said the mailbox was full!! What kind of worthwhile business operates like this? Definitely not this one which I’d never patronize because I can’t even call and talk to a person let alone leave a message!!
