Critical: PunctualityBook an appointment for 1:15 with “John”. I arrive early and the other barber says “oh, he went out”. So I hang. 5 mins pass, and the other barber says “he’ll be here in like 5 minutes”. *10 minutes pass* from that point and he’s still not there. It is now 20 mins past my appointment. I grasp around the holidays I may have to wait a little past my exact slot because things are busy, but to NOT even BE THERE when a client is booked? Unprofessional. I said “please tell him I said thank you for coming” and walked out. Other barber apologized. It’s a shame because I live literally around the corner from this place and would’ve made it my new spot. Made an appointment today at Max G for the first time. June was my job and did an impeccable job! Easily the best haircut I’ve ever had; very precise, clean, and overall very relaxing. The shop itself looks great, the other barber Max seemed really nice as well, and I think their prices are very fair for the high level of service they provide. I’m definitely never going anywhere else again! Give them a try, you won’t regret it.

Three chairs Two barbers, so be sure make an appointment in advance, but I always get a solid haircut here, not disappointed so far. It seems like they are pretty diverse as far as different kinds of styles. Hidden gem 5 stars.

Husband came in for a cut and a shave, and the barber said they didn’t do long hair. However, the barber decided to give it a go. But the barber had a family issue come up during the cut and couldn’t complete it in one sitting. He requested we return later and said we wouldn’t have to worry about paying until we came back. We did return and the barber cut, shaved, and shaped by husband’s hair and beard expertly, despite having sustained an injury while servicing the previous client. He generously kept the shop open past normal hours to complete my husband’s cut because he had to ask us to come back. In the end, he did not charge my husband for his cut and shave, and even when my husband tried to pay for it the barber refused and thanked him for coming and talking to him. Barber was very friendly andtl talkative, and my husband and I enjoyed the experience. I would definitely recommend them for how generous, skilled, and accommodating they were.
