After looking up “haircut” on google maps, I found 3 suggestions downtown…so I dragged main and saw the 2 other shops were full of customers. Matt’s was my third stop and luckily I walked in to an empty chair! Cole was my barber. Quiet fella. But he does take his time to do it right. Today I felt it is better to have a good haircut where one can sit in silence and just disconnect for a little bit. Haircut that I asked for was 1 on edge taper to the top and then soft part with half inch off top mass. Spot on. Was not offered products in hair like gel and pomade but maybe there was something sticky in his spray bottle. Extra point for straight Razor with warm foam on neck! And after that, he ran the back massager on my shoulder for a minute or two. 18 dollars and out the door. I would definitely recommend this place. And I would recommend Cole.

Lots of places to get hair cuts around Elk City. Matt’s is the best I’ve found to get professional looking cuts with with out breaking the bank.

This is one of the few barbers doing it right still. Great environment while you wait, including multiples tvs and a pool table, straight edge razor around your ear and neckline, but the best feature is the straight edge face shave. Make your man happy and buy them one! One of the few places in the US still doing this!
