I came to redeem a buy one get one free haircut offer that was mailed to me by Matador. I had already received a haircut earlier this month and came to receive my free cut. I was told to show the certificate with the signature of the barber on the coupon to redeem. I paid for my haircut at full price and received my signed voucher for the free haircut. Today I went in and a young lady was going to put me in the schedule for a haircut. When I informed her that I was using my voucher, she said “We don’t accept those, I threw all those away. The owner said not to accept those.” I informed her that there is not such language on the offer. It is still valid per the coupon that I was presenting. She stared blankly and said “I dont know what to tell you”. I’m led to believe that Matador is comfortable offering something that it has no intention of honoring. I would have appreciated some acknowledgment of the obvious mistake of denying me the full utilization of my offer. Unless, this is a common practice of Matador, offering one thing and then “throwing all those away”. I’ll pass.

Horrible haircut and beard trim. I could have gotten the same kind of cut for $5. Paid $70, was a rip off. I was the only one there and she cut my hair like she was in a hurry. I left without shampoo and hot towel. They should shampoo first so they can get a good clean cut. Hair was uneven, not texture like I asked.
