Years ago I went to MasterCuts because my friend recommended it. I wanted to get highlights with a haircut/style. I have a really thick and wavy very healthy hair, this was not my first time having it done. The hairstylist was a young girl and was very nice. However either the product she used was not really good or she did not know how to do it. She made 2 attempts to highlight my hair and the 3rd time she did the whole head to reach the color she promised to me.At the end of it, I spent 4 hours there, and paid 280$. 4 days later, my hair turned to orange color and started to break in pieces. I went to another hair salon and get it cut to a pixy style to grow it healthier again. If I went to another store close by, this service would take less than 4 hours and about 100-120$ at that time. I kept my silence for years and do not know why. I was disappointed but at the same time I know people who really like the job done in this salon.

I regret not checking the reviews… Paid $24 just to get my medium length hair trimmed, and it was less than an inch. I asked for layers and all she did was trim the long, preexisting ones. Didn’t ask wether I wanted them shorter for more volume, didn’t build a rapport or anything with me. Very silent and awkward. Terrible customer service overall. I would’ve possibly understood if they were busy, but there was only one other customer in there aside from me and three hair dressers.

I went for a haircut the stylist was great but customer service very rude and I had a bag from Dillards and she got hair color all over my bag and stuff that I had bought, I told her that she had put color on my shopping bag and her comment was you Are in my work station very rude. She was very messy with the hair dye all over the floor even the lady thAt she was dying her hair she was not Satisfied at all she made her take off the hair color. She was overcharging her so much for a retouch.

I made an appointment a day in advance for highlights. When I arrived I had to wait 15 minutes and there were 5 people waiting in line… there were only 2 hairdressers working… I did get to go ahead of all the others but the hairdresser didn’t want to work on me because the line was too long and it was going to take too long on me….what a waste of my time…I will never ever step foot back into a Master Cuts Salon..I went to a different salon and my hair looks beautiful!…i wished i could charge them for my wasted time!!

I went to this place to dye my hair, I wanted a specific styled and the lady didn’t even do close of what I wanted I wanted the ombré type and it’s not even and there’s huge parts that are still black so it looks really bad. I went and asked for a refund in which she told me I gotta wait until the manager was back 13 days after she messed up my hair or to come back the next day so she could fixed my hair which I told her no I didn’t want that lady to messed up my hair more, but what it made me angry is the attitude the girl with the gray highlights had, I don’t recommend this salon to anyone and I would never go back to this place again
