I called master j on the phone and asked how much it would be for a fade and beard trim he told me $25.00 I went in and halfway threw my haircut he told me that he know that he told me that the haircut and beard trim would be $25.00 but he usually charge $50.00 but for me it would be $45.00 I was like man you should of told me this before you started cutting my hair I would not be going back

Great guy overall, great conversation. Went in for a simple hair cut one that cant be messed up. Came out with my hairline jacked up and asked for a razor edge up. It took him 15 seconds no hot rag no shaving cream just raw shave and said it was a extra 5 dollars. Ive never spent 25 dollars for a haircut and never will again.

I should have turned around when I saw how dark the inside of the shop was. Twice he had to go back and fix the side of my hair after he tried to get me out of the chair. Then during him fixing the sides he covered my neck back and arms in cut hair. During the being it the hair cut I asked if he could do a razor blade finish and he said yes. Then at the end I asked it he was going to finish it with the razor like he said. His response was ” my clippers get just as close as a razor and you don’t need the razor finish”. No, clippers do not get as close as a razor. I didn’t argue then just paid and left. Now it surprised me when he charged me $20 for the cut. My wife has done a better hair cut and she has a pair of Walmart clippers and never cut hair before she cut mine. But to finish it off he butchered the back of my hair and I didn’t know this until I got home and my wife started laughing after she saw it. Needless to say I’ll never return. I expected more from a licensed barber. I’m not the kind to blow things out of proportion, it’s hair. It’s grow back. I get that. But all in all it was a horrible cut with way to high of a price.

I like going to Master J’s barbershop from the time you walk in to getting to the chair, he does not make you feel like you are a stranger and will talk to you about just about anything. Price is fair and the clippers have not snagged once. Go on now and get your hair cut by him, you will be back.

Very Unhingenic…. Doesn’t clean his machines after use. Cut my son up pretty bad and doesn’t sanitize after he cuts his client’s. For the price it’s not worth it. You’re better off letting your 2yr old cut your hair
