I have been to a few massage luxe before, and my massages are usually pretty good, the facial I got was amazing , but the lady who did my massage completely hurt me and made it worse , she acted like she didn’t wanna be there I asked for a Swedish and it felt like a deep tissue. I ended up feeling worse than when I went in and took about a week and a half to get the knot out of my upper back that she didn’t get out , I had to use my massage gun so that I had to avoid going to the hospital that’s how much worse it got !!! Completely disappointing, won’t be back to this location.

Critical: Communication, QualityWent in for a Prenatal Massage, which was scheduled by my husband, on 10/30/21. The front desk service was pretty good. Nothing to complain about. I let the receptionist know that this was my first massage ever. I was given an iPad to complete paperwork in the waiting area of the spa which took about 10 minutes to finish. Therapist came to get me maybe 8 min after I finished paperwork. I cannot remember her name as I don’t remember if she formally introduced herself. I remember the receptionist telling me her name, but not her. I was made aware that the therapist would give me a detailed explanation about what would take place. Instead I was asked what type of massage I wanted… even after completing the paperwork. In short, there wasn’t much formality like I would expect to be given from a Massage Therapist, the quality of the massage itself was something I could have received from my 11 year old, and the massage was NOT a full hour. I repeat, it was Not a full 60 min. Appointment time was 12:45 and I was clothed and walking out of room at 1:40! I got up feeling the same way I felt when I laid down to get a Prenatal Massage, but I also felt jipped and I still tipped $20 and paid $65 for the “massage”. Can’t say I will be back. The massage therapist I really liked(the only therapist who did a great deep tissue) left. They have cancelled two appointments last minute. My last massage and facial were more than disappointing. I scheduled an hour facial that was only 35 minutes(and not good) and the massage was not deep tissue as scheduled. My daughter in law said she may as well had a kids do the massage. I should of kept my thoughts about the reviews I had read and not paid for the packages and went elsewhere. Critical: QualityI did a couples massage with my husband this past weekend and came out very disappointed. I was hoping for a good deep tissue massage and came out with the very opposite. They give you a sheet to fill out of what you would like and I selected DEEP TISSUE. Not sure what the point of the paperwork is if you’re not going to read it. I heard my husband’s lady ask him if the pressure was good and made a comment to what he had selected for his massage. Not once did my lady ask me how it was or make sure of what I wanted before we started. I made this appointment a month ago, even my appointment card said her name, my regular person is in maternity leave so I went to my appointment today and I introduced my self to the new person and I told her hi Cassandra! after I was already down and ready for the massage and the person who was there to do my massage told me nice to meet you too! but I’m not Cassandra I wasn’t happy!!!!! the person did a good job but if I ask for a person I want to do my massage I want that person
