Clinical Massage for 60 Minutes
Clinical Massage is the use of massage techniques to address injuries and acute/chronic pain. Therapists at our clinic that are listed as Clinical Massage Therapists (CMTs) have completed an additional 200-hour Post Graduate course in Clinic Massage Therapy and will incorporate various types of soft tissue manipulation into your session: Myofascial Release, Muscle Energy Techniques, Trigger Point Therapy, Deep Tissue, etc. Clinical Massage will not always consist of deep pressure throughout the session or be a full body massage. The goal is to target specific muscles, tendons, and ligaments of the injured area to assist the body with healing by helping to decrease muscle tension, increase range of motion, and increase overall muscle function which leads to a decrease in pain.If you are seeking firm-deep pressure but an overall Relaxation session without specific injury/pain, please see our Swedish Massage option.
