Critical: CommunicationWas debating posting this for a while, but decided I might be able to help someone avoid the uncomfortable situation I was put in. When I scheduled the appointment for a couples massage I specifically asked for 2 females, among personal preference, this was my first massage and I was already hesitant about being naked with a stranger touching me near my most sensitive areas. I wanted to go to a professional place I could trust to be completely transparent with me. They assured me both me and my partner would be getting women massaging us. When I came In I have good reason to believe both me and my partner were given transgender women. I have absolutely no personal problem people living their life the way they want to. I support personal choice. That being said I said multiple times I would only be comfortable with a woman massaging me and I feel as though this place lacked communication and transparency. Was debating posting this for a while, but decided I might be able to help someone avoid the uncomfortable situation I was put in. When I scheduled the appointment for a couples massage I specifically asked for 2 females, among personal preference, this was my first massage and I was already hesitant about being naked with a stranger touching me near my most sensitive areas. Critical: Communication, Professionalism, QualityThey took me in LATE. I had an hour massage. They didn’t take me in until 4:15 but they stopped at 4:45. The room was cold, and air was blowing directly on me and the only thing I was offered was the heat on the bed to be turned UP. My therapist was a tall pale guy, who’s hands were ice cold just like his oil. No communication or asking me how it felt. My massage was supposed to be deep tissue, and I had target areas listed, but yet he massaged me no deeper than my skin. The room was cold, and air was blowing directly on me and the only thing I was offered was the heat on the bed to be turned UP.
