the worst service. They cancel appointments and don’t notify you. Happened to me 3 times this year. After 11 years I canceled my membership. I didn’t get a sorry or nothing. WORST SERVICE EVER

The therapists are fine, if you can get an appointment. I have paid a memebership for over 10 years, cancelled it 6 months ago due to not being able to get an appointnment and they have continued to charge me, increased the monthly rate and failed to notify. I am requesting the last 6 months be refunded and eating the last 3 years of unused services. They are unwilling to refund my membership after cancelling with them. I would rather support a small business than the coroprate greed and lack of customer care or service at this business. This business is not about health or wellness, it is about collecting a monthly fee.

After years I decided to visit massage envy. I stopped going before because of the below average borderline terrible massage for a high price. Thought things might have changed since they’re well established now in Washington but nope, I was mistaken and reminded why I never wanted to return. While the masseuse was kind, I hate to say it, but didn’t do a good job. I asked for a hard and deep massage and only after the massage she admitted that she didn’t know if she would be able to give me a hard massage (which she didn’t). On top of that, I was getting the introductory rate since I hadn’t visited in so long however the intro rate is so high, I was taken aback and regretted not checking before hand. $70 for an intro and $120 for future visits.

Long story…first let me state that the masseuses are pretty good, the problem I have is that there isn’t a lot of openings for a massage. So you book a week or more out, than within hours of the appointment you get a call or text cancelling the appointment to various excuses. Now I don’t complain much or often, but this has happened to me so many times (at least 7 times in the past 6 months). So here I sit with many hours “credit” and massage envy will not refund the mandatory monthly fees for the “credit’s” I have accumulated. If I were to do it again I would NOT sign up for a years worth of service with Massage Envy.

The therapist Melissa is one of the best. She is gentle with her massage and do not apply to much pressure. She also service minor clientele with a parent or guardian in the room overseeing the massage services. She asks her questions and gives you the full hour that you pay for without including the time that you get dressed and undressed in the hour massage. The management is also superb and very helpful. I do not know about other Massage Envy’s but the Federal Way property is by far the best.
